First Postings and Bad Monitors

Howdy to the Red Moon Burning Blog.

This is will essentially be the rambling musings some rock star wanna-be's.
We try. We try.

As true musicians we will update this on a quite random basis.

Taking a break from the whole painful recording process; Jon and I played out (in an unplugged style) last night at the Acoustic Seen in Greenville SC. This is a good mellow meet point. Due South for this cat and gets me out of the back woods – at least for a few hours.

No soundcheck and no warm up – time constraints from nowhere. So you go on cold, and don’t actually get the right levels until the second song.

Monitors were not working.

So you are up there playing your heart out – and you can’t hear what you are actually playing or singing.

You feel as you are playing in some parallel Universe. You have to keep on playing and performing.

It was all a bit strange.

Still, it is always good to play and I got to see other acts too.
